Textron contracts Bird Execujet to manage service facility

Bird ExecuJet Airport Services, a joint venture between Bird Group and ExecuJet Aviation Group, has been appointed an authorized service facility in India for multinational company, Textron Aviation. Bird ExecuJet has entered into an agreement with Textron Aviation to offer service and support for Citation XLS and Hawker 750/800/850/900-series business jets and King Air 90-series turboprops.
Anurag Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer – Bird ExecuJet Airport Services, said “Until now, there haven’t been any authorized facilities in New Delhi following the Delhi International Airport selected the FBO and MRO concessionaire at Indira Gandhi International airport. With this appointment, we will offer a truly versatile and comprehensive business and general aviation product portfolio.”
Bird ExecuJet is developing a world class FBO and MRO facilities at Indira Gandhi International Airport and currently offers maintenance services from two exclusive hangars.

The new reforms drafted by the civil aviation ministry on name change and free cancellation of airline tickets within 24 hours of booking is a relief to the travelling public and boost to the aviation industry. The name correction facility and compensations on denied boarding, delay and flight cancellation will provide relief to passengers and also improve the flying experience in India.
