The gateway city of Zurich in Switzerland has witnessed a growth of 24% in Indian overnights during the January-November period in 2015 over the same period previous year. Esther Grob, Area Manager – Russia, India, Japan, Korea, Australia, Zurich Tourism, said, ” We recorded approximately 80,000 Indian overnights, which is a huge growth of 24% in Indian overnights from January to November last year as compared to the same period in 2014.” In 2014, the tourism board witnessed a miniscule growth from the Indian market.
