Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels delivers meals to Covid centres across India

Marriott International via Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels, its food delivery programme, aims to deliver more than 15,000 meals to over 20 Covid-19 centres across Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Delhi.

The meals are for those people who are quarantined and are relying on nutritious and wholesome meals to get them through the isolation.

The meals are curated in the kitchens of hotels such as The St. Regis Mumbai, Westin Mumbai, JW Marriott New Delhi, JW Marriott Kolkata, The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, Westin Pune, Westin Goa, and Marriott Goa.

“The entire activity is a simple gesture by Marriott Bonvoy to honour the sacrifices of the umpteen real-life heroes and to definitely spread some cheer in the busy day of the overworked frontline workers, “reads an official statement.

 The activity has already begun in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Delhi covering centres such as Nesco Covid centre in Mumbai, Lok Narayan Jai Prakash hospital in Delhi, and Rashtrotthana centre in Bengaluru.

The upcoming activity is scheduled between June 2-June 6 in Pune and Goa.

The branded truck will run across six major cities in India – Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Goa, and Pune providing 15,000 plus meals at Covid centres and hospitals to frontline workers and medical professionals.
