The launch of these 4 titles saw the rollout of Websites www.travelspan.in and digital editions of the print magazine and the daily newsletter.

Our websites currently witness over .3 million unique monthly users and our social media platforms clock in uniques per month. The latest entrant to our ever-expanding portfolio was Travel Span’s Video, launched in 2004, which has conceptualized and produced 2 seasons of the popular talk show Straight Talk with live coverages on Facebook, and Instagram pages.

Sponsorship & Alliances Lead – Travel Span

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas):

Sponsorships & Alliances:

• Responsible for generating and building a healthy pipeline for sponsorships & alliances for events | Awards, and exhibitions
• Achieve targets and generate revenue that is held by this vertical.

Stakeholder Management:

• Working very closely with all stakeholders – Publishers, Editors, Head of Events, Digital Leads, etc
• Achieve targets and generate revenue that is held by this vertical.
• Managing expectations in all departments
• Oversee all the tools used by the sales team – media kit, emailers, to support the sales team on a monthly/annual basis/ research/ creating category decks.
• Manage overall event sponsorship target for the brand by pitching for sponsorships.
• Responsible for event sponsor management, which includes and is not limited to, sponsor event execution to support sales.
• Ensure each event has a profitable P&L, and work on cost reduction.

Overview:

This role is responsible for producing compelling stories for web and print platforms along with generating ideas for commentaries and relevant topics, research, and discovery of fresh and new content which can be curated for our audience.

Areas of Responsibility: (Key Result Areas)

The Role:

⦁ Pitch, write, and produce compelling stories for web and print, conducting interviews and research (including image sourcing) as required

⦁ Coordinate with Editors and/or Topic Leads/Topic Senior Editors and/or EiCs/Market Leads to develop content and contribute to local and global content and initiatives

⦁ Proof and edit own copy before submission

⦁ Participate in and contribute to broader editorial brainstorms & ideas meetings

⦁ Liaise with art, visuals, copy, research, and web production departments.

Key Accountabilities:

⦁ Write stories in the form of articles focusing on Lifestyle, Travel & Leisure that will be carried in print & digital (Travel Span)

⦁ Be responsible for meeting unique user targets, story count, and other key performance indicators.

Qualification & Experience:
