NILE Hospitality appoints Steve Pereira as General Manager of Bhairavgarh Palace Udaipur


Bhairavgarh Palace Udaipur has appointed Steve Pereira as the new General Manager. Pereira is a highly accomplished professional with over 22 years of experience in the hotel industry, specialising in Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Sales, Business Development and Hospitality Management. He possesses a diverse range of core competencies, including strategic planning, pre-opening specialist, profit centre operations, facilities management, hotel operations, financial planning, transportation operation, administration, human resource management, training & development, customer acquisition, and team management. Throughout his career, Pereira has consistently delivered optimal results and business value in high-growth environments.

He began his career with The Ananda in the Himalayas in 1999 and since then, he has held several key positions in renowned hotels, such as The Leela Palace Bangalore, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Essar Group (Aviation Division), Airways Hotel Port Moresby The Waverly Hotel & Residences and The Lalit Mangar. Pereira’s new responsibility involves prioritising the improvement of guests’ overall experience, generating revenue growth and supervising the operations team’s management at Bhairavgarh Palace Udaipur, a boutique resort nestled amidst the majestic Aravalli range with 69 exquisitely designed rooms that offer a luxurious and comfortable stay, managed by NILE Hospitality. 

Pereira holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from St Joseph’s College of Business Administration, Bangalore, and a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management from Christ College, Bangalore. He also holds an “Advanced Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate” from CSSC.
