Taking the key count to over 4800 keys, The Fern Hotels & Resorts is planning to unveil eight new hotels in the first half of 2021 in Junagadh (Gujarat) and Kevadia (Statue of Unity), Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh.
Fern Hotels & Resorts is planning to unveil eight new hotels in the first half of 2021. With the addition of eight new hotels, the group’s overall properties will increase to 82 hotels in 67 locations.

Two hotels opening in January 2021 will be located in Junagadh (Gujarat) and Kevadia (Statue of Unity). Besides, other hotels will be opening in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh.

Talking about the scheduled openings, Noshir A Marfatia, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, The Fern Hotels & Resorts expressed, “The opening of new properties will propel the key count to 4800 plus keys across all their hotels. And this comes after successfully opening two Fern hotels in December in Daman and Gangtok (Sikkim).”

“We are also now in advanced stages to open two more hotels, one in Mumbai and another in Thane. That will take our presence in the city to eight hotels,”  he added.

Contrasting the last years’ developments, he commented, “Last year was a difficult one from the business point of view. However, we did exceptionally well at all our resort locations. We now hope to see increased footfalls at all our city hotels as well, this year.”
“We have put into place enhanced hygiene standards across all our properties since the lockdown. Also, our guests are reassured on their health and safety at all our hotels,” he concluded.
