Sarovar Hotels, in partnership with Prachi Resorts, has officially inaugurated Prachi Sarovar Premiere Bhubaneswar, further strengthening Odisha’s premium hospitality landscape and reinforcing the state capital’s growing appeal as a tourism, business, and events destination.

Located in Bhubaneswar, the newly launched upscale property marks another significant addition to the expanding hospitality infrastructure in eastern India, as travel demand across business, cultural, and leisure segments continues to rise.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several senior industry and business leaders, including Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman of Sarovar Hotels and Director of Louvre Hotels India; Vijaya Laxmi Devi; and Directors of Prachi Resorts, Manmath Vijay Singh Deo and Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo.

The hotel features 78 well-appointed rooms and suites designed to cater to both corporate and leisure travellers. Dining facilities include an all-day dining restaurant alongside “Mahua,” an intimate indoor bar offering guests a relaxed social setting.

The property also places strong emphasis on events and celebrations, offering a sprawling 15,200 sq. ft. landscaped green lawn along with dedicated event spaces designed for weddings, conferences, corporate gatherings, and social functions.

Commenting on the launch, Ajay K. Bakaya stated that the opening of Prachi Sarovar Premiere reflects Sarovar Hotels’ strategic focus on expanding into high-growth markets with strong tourism and infrastructure potential.

He noted that the collaboration with Prachi Resorts aims to deliver a hospitality experience that blends contemporary comfort with the cultural warmth and heritage richness associated with Odisha.

Vijaya Laxmi Devi, Chairperson of Prachi Resorts, said the company has long played a pioneering role in Odisha’s star-category hospitality sector and continues to contribute toward the development of tourism and professional hospitality standards in the state.

She added that the partnership with Sarovar Hotels would further elevate Bhubaneswar’s positioning as an emerging hub for tourism, business travel, and destination events, while bringing nationally recognised hospitality standards to the region.

Industry observers note that Bhubaneswar has witnessed steady growth in recent years as a combined leisure and business destination, supported by improved infrastructure, growing corporate activity, enhanced air connectivity, and increasing interest in Odisha’s cultural and heritage tourism offerings.

The launch of Prachi Sarovar Premiere also aligns with broader hospitality expansion trends across Tier II Indian cities, where demand for premium branded accommodation continues to accelerate amid rising domestic tourism and business mobility.
