MICE Show Asia 2026 expands exhibition space by 83.2% in Singapore

Travel Span News Network: Singapore/Berlin : MICE Show Asia 2026 is set to expand its exhibition space by 83.2% as the business events platform returns to Singapore from 21–23 October at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

The event will bring together destinations, venues, MICE suppliers, meeting planners, corporate travel professionals and buyers from across the Asia-Pacific region. The expansion comes as the sector responds to changing expectations around destinations, event experiences, flexibility, technology, sustainability and measurable business value.

More than 200 MICE buyers confirmed

The 2026 edition is building a growing buyer community, with more than 200 MICE buyers confirmed to date. Representatives from organisations including Amex GBT, Asian MICE Planner Co. Ltd, Be Event Group, ConferenceDirect, Culturebrand Luxury Travel & Events, HelmsBriscoe, International Conference Services, K.I.T. Group APAC, LamontCo, Technical Communications Intelligent Japan, TUI Travel Center, the World Association for Medical Law and the World Psychiatric Association are among those confirmed.

Confirmed exhibitors include Ayana, Festive Events, Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, Liberty International Tourism Group, Sapporo Convention Bureau, Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, Uganda Convention Bureau and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.

Darren Seah, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, said the event is evolving in response to changing buyer and supplier requirements, with greater attention being placed on measurable outcomes, meaningful experiences and value from business events.

New networking and professional development programmes

Beyond the exhibition floor, MICE Show Asia 2026 will introduce and expand a series of networking, experiential and professional-development initiatives.

Making its debut this year, the Association Executive Networking Session will provide an invitation-only setting for association executives to exchange ideas, develop industry connections and discuss shared opportunities and challenges.

The Pinnacle Partners Experience will return for a second edition following its 2025 debut. Curated by Uncommon Conferences, the invitation-only programme will bring together selected MICE and corporate buyers for a closed-door experiential session focused on the challenges and opportunities facing business-to-business event planners.

The event will also host the MICE Fundamentals: Conference, Exhibition & Incentive Events Workshop, curated by Global MICE Collaborative. The ticketed workshop is aimed at emerging MICE professionals and new entrants, covering the fundamentals of designing and delivering conferences, exhibitions and incentive events.

Practitioners representing the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) will contribute to the workshop, which combines practical learning, real-world applications, networking and access to industry tools and resources.

Conference to examine future of MICE industry

The MICE Show Asia 2026 conference programme will bring together MICE buyers, destinations, corporate travel professionals, technology specialists and business events experts to examine trends and commercial priorities shaping the sector in Asia-Pacific.

Key themes will include the changing MICE buyer, destination selection, event experiences and business outcomes, alongside flexibility, value and personalisation. The programme will also explore how digital transformation and artificial intelligence are influencing the planning and delivery of business events.

Other areas of focus will include the changing corporate traveller, sustainability, resilience and emerging opportunities for the regional MICE industry.

International and regional industry partnerships

The conference programme is supported by an international and regional network of organisations spanning business events, exhibitions, incentive travel, sustainability and market intelligence.

Key partners include the China Business Event Industry Committee (CBEIC), Global MICE Collaborative, Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), Tourism Economics and Uncommon Conferences.

MICE, travel and technology under one ecosystem

MICE Show Asia 2026 will take place alongside ITB Asia and Travel Tech Asia, bringing the business events, travel and technology communities together at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

The co-location is intended to give participants access to a broader cross-section of the Asia-Pacific travel industry, with opportunities to connect across MICE, tourism and travel technology.

Visitors will be able to access all three events through an All Access Pass, providing an integrated experience across MICE Show Asia, ITB Asia and Travel Tech Asia.
