The expanded collection spans 219 destinations across 56 countries, featuring culinary-themed sailings, a 75-night South America circumnavigation and new ports across several regions.

Silversea has expanded its 2028–2029 Voyage Collection with 103 additional sailings, strengthening its global cruise offering with itineraries designed around major cultural events, regional cuisine and distinctive destination experiences.

Scheduled to operate from September 2028 to May 2029, the new voyages cover 219 destinations across 56 countries and introduce 29 new ports of call across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and South America.

The programme includes sailings timed to coincide with Carnival celebrations in Venice and Rio de Janeiro, as well as New Year’s Eve in Funchal, Madeira, and Sydney. The additions are intended to give travellers more opportunities to experience destinations during significant cultural and seasonal events.

Mediterranean voyages combine culture and cuisine

Silver Nova and Silver Dawn will operate a combined 17 Mediterranean voyages, with itineraries offering opportunities to explore historic cities, coastal destinations and regional food and wine traditions.

Selected sailings will coincide with Venice Carnival, while other voyages are scheduled around Funchal’s New Year’s Eve fireworks. Additional calls at Istanbul will further expand the programme’s reach across the eastern Mediterranean.

Silversea is also increasing its offering under its Sea and Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) culinary programme. Three Wine & Truffle voyages aboard Silver Dawn will explore destinations in Italy and Spain during the seasonal truffle period, linking regional cuisine with visits to wine-producing areas and local culinary experiences.

In Asia, four S.A.L.T. Asian Markets voyages aboard Silver Muse will operate between Singapore and Hong Kong, focusing on the region’s food markets, culinary traditions and local flavours.

Grand South America voyage adds an extended exploration

One of the collection’s headline additions is a 75-night Grand South America voyage aboard Silver Nova. The round-trip itinerary is designed to circumnavigate the continent and includes scenic cruising along the Antarctic Peninsula.

The extended voyage offers an alternative to shorter regional cruises, bringing together a broad range of South American destinations within a single journey. The Antarctic Peninsula segment adds a distinctive element to the itinerary, with opportunities to observe remote landscapes from the ship.

Expanded Caribbean and Central American programme

Four ships—Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Spirit and Silver Shadow—will operate 38 voyages across the Caribbean and Central America. Round-trip departures are planned from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, providing several gateways for travellers planning regional cruises.

Selected itineraries will call at Canouan, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The island experience is designed to include a local welcome with dancers and a steel band, followed by a private beach gathering. The programme highlights Silversea’s focus on combining port visits with curated experiences that introduce guests to local culture.

Australia, New Zealand and Asia gain new calls

Silver Moon will spend the season in Australia and New Zealand, operating 10 voyages that include new calls at Batemans Bay and Phillip Island.

Across Asia, Silver Moon and Silver Muse will operate 26 voyages, with Kobe in Japan and Bali in Indonesia serving as new turnaround ports. The programme also introduces eight maiden ports of call: Yeosu, Hitachinaka, Miyako-jima, Vigan, Muara, Sihanoukville, Makassar and Maizuru, which provides access to Kyoto.

These additions broaden the range of destinations available to guests, combining established tourism gateways with smaller coastal cities and less frequently visited ports.

A destination-led approach to luxury cruising

The expanded collection reflects Silversea’s emphasis on destination-led itineraries, with voyages built around cultural celebrations, seasonal cuisine and opportunities to spend more time exploring ashore.

For luxury cruise travellers, the programme offers a range of formats, from shorter regional sailings to an extended South American journey. Its culinary voyages and new port calls also provide additional ways to experience local traditions beyond conventional sightseeing.

With the new sailings now on sale, the 2028–2029 collection gives travellers and travel advisers a wider choice of itineraries across multiple regions, with options tailored to seasonal events and distinctive destination experiences.
