The new frequency increases weekly services on this high-demand route from 24 to 28 flights, adding 1,196 seats each way, reflecting strong passenger demand and rising international travel trends.

All Delhi–London flights will operate using Air India’s modern long-haul aircraft — the Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9. Two daily flights will utilize the A350-900 and two the 787-9, ensuring consistent service quality across all departures. Both aircraft offer three cabin classes: Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class, featuring the airline’s latest seating designs, in-flight entertainment systems, and enhanced amenities.
Passenger satisfaction is on the rise, with Air India reporting an average Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 47 points, and even higher ratings between 50–60 points for Business Class and Premium Economy on the A350-900. Optimized UK Network for the Northern Winter Season
In addition to expanding Delhi–London services, Air India has realigned and reinstated key UK routes to meet growing demand:
- Mumbai–London (Heathrow): Double daily, 14x weekly.
- Bengaluru–London (Heathrow): Restored to 7x weekly following reinstatement of curtailed flights.
- Ahmedabad–London (Gatwick): Returns to Gatwick, 3x weekly.
- Amritsar–London (Gatwick): Restored to 3x weekly.
- Delhi–Birmingham: Restored to 3x weekly.
- Amritsar–Birmingham: Continues 3x weekly.
