Bhutan, June 8th, 2024 – As Bhutan commemorates half a century of welcoming travelers since its historic decision to open its doors to the world in 1974, India remains a pivotal market in its tourism journey. To honor this significant milestone, Bhutan’s tourism department announces a landmark four-city roadshow across India, featuring approximately 20 exhibitors. The roadshow itinerary includes Delhi on June 17th, Ahmedabad on June 18th, Mumbai on June 20th, and culminating in Kolkata on June 21st.

This exclusive event offers a unique platform for industry stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions, fostering partnerships and crafting unforgettable experiences in Bhutan. With Bhutan emerging as a sought-after destination for Indian travelers, especially during the summer months, the roadshow is strategically positioned to capitalize on this growing trend. Indian travelers are drawn to Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage, spiritual offerings, and awe-inspiring natural landscapes. The India Roadshow is meticulously designed to provide industry professionals with an unparalleled opportunity to network, collaborate, and expand their business horizons across various segments including corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), luxury, and leisure.

Participating in the roadshow are around 20 Bhutanese exhibitors, comprising tour operators, hotels, and airlines, who will showcase special offers, packages, and promotions. The event will also feature traditional Bhutanese cultural elements, enhancing the immersive experience for attendees. Attendees can also look forward to exciting lucky draws at each city event, with return flight tickets to Bhutan up for grabs as prizes, culminating in a grand prize of return flight tickets to Bhutan.

Carissa Nimah, Chief Marketing Officer at Bhutan Tourism, expressed enthusiasm for the roadshow, stating, “Bhutan is thrilled to bring the beauty of our country to our friends in India through this roadshow.
