Cabinet expansion: G Kishan Reddy is the new Tourism Minister & Jyotiraditya Scindia gets aviation


The PM Narendra Modi-led government carried out its first major change in the Union Cabinet since May 2019 with the induction of 43 ministers.Mr. G Kishan Reddy has become the new Culture and Tourism Minister of India. Mr. Reddy has also been allocated the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region. “I express my deep sense of gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi for the trust reposed in me. I will sincerely make an endeavor to live up to his expectations & that of my people,” Mr. Reddy tweeted.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has also got a new face: Mr. Jyotiranditya Scindia who has been given charge of the Civil Aviation portfolio as a Cabinet Minister. His dynamism will help the Indian aviation industry get out of pandemic turbulence.
