Delta has announced a raft of new transatlantic services for summer 2025, including four times-weekly seasonal flights between Detroit and Dublin starting in May next year.

The route will complement the carrier’s year-round services from Atlanta and New York JFK to Dublin, as well as seasonal flights from Boston and MInneapolis St Paul – the latter of which launched in May this year.
Delta also operates the only nonstop flights from Detroit to the UK, with year-round flights to London Heathrow.

The airline will also launch several other transatlantic routes next summer, as follows:
Thrice-weekly flights between Atlanta and Brussels
Four flights per week between Atlanta and Naples
Four flights per week between Boston and Milan
Thrice-weekly flights between Boston and Barcelona
Four flights per week between Mineapolis St Paul and Rome
Daily flights between New York JFK and Catania
Meanwhile Delta will increase existing routes from Atlanta to Athens (four additional weekly flights), Zurich (increasing to daily), Barcelona and Rome (both seeing three additional weekly flights), and will also boost its Detroit-Munich service to daily.

Commenting on the news Joe Esposito, Delta’s senior vice president – network planning, said:
“With over 700 weekly flights to 33 European destinations and beyond, we’re expanding access to key cities like Barcelona and Dublin with new routes, while introducing our first-ever nonstop service to Catania, Sicily.
“We’ve also recently opened a stunning Delta One Lounge at JFK, with more to come at LAX, BOS, and SEA. Alongside the rollout of free international wifi and increased premium seating across our fleet, we’re ensuring our customers enjoy the best in connectivity and comfort from the moment they arrive at the airport to when they touch down.”
