IHCL signs Vivanta Hotel in Talegaon, Pune

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new hotel in Talegaon, Pune, marking its fifth hotel in the city. The Greenfield project, a Vivanta property, aims to enhance IHCL’s presence in Pune, a significant commercial city in Maharashtra.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL, commented on the development, stating, “This signing will strengthen IHCL’s presence in Pune, a key commercial city in Maharashtra. Talegoan is a leading automobile and manufacturing hub in the state, and it is poised for further growth with increasing infrastructure development in the area. This will be IHCL’s fifth hotel in Pune. We are delighted to partner with RMK Infrastructure Pvt Ltd for this hotel.”

The 140-key hotel, situated on the Talegaon MIDC Road over 2.5 acres, strategically positions itself close to leading multinational companies. The hotel is set to include an all-day diner, Mynt, a specialty restaurant, Wink, and a bar with over 4000 sq. ft. of banquet space. Recreation facilities will encompass a swimming pool, gym, and spa.

RMK Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. ‘s founder, Ramdas Kakade, expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “We are pleased to collaborate with IHCL, leaders in India’s hospitality industry. This hotel will offer guests the distinctive experience of the Vivanta brand in Talegaon.”

Pune, a bustling metropolis in Maharashtra known for blending modernity with tradition, serves as a major manufacturing, IT, and educational centre, as well as the cultural capital of the state. With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio will boast 33 hotels across SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands in Maharashtra, including 11 under development.
