Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a leader in global cruise travel, has announced the launch and opened bookings for its newest ship, Norwegian Luna™️, part of the Prima Plus Class. As the 21st vessel in NCL’s advanced fleet, Norwegian Luna will begin its inaugural Caribbean season in April 2026, offering roundtrip voyages from Miami through November 2026. The ship will feature western Caribbean itineraries to Roatan Island, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, Belize, followed by seven-day cruises to eastern Caribbean destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and NCL’s private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay.

Norwegian Luna, with a length of almost 322 meters and a gross tonnage of 156,300, will host 3,550 guests at double occupancy—offering a 10 percent size and capacity increase compared to its Prima Class counterparts, Norwegian Prima®️ and Norwegian Viva®️. Designed as a twin to Norwegian Aqua, set for delivery in 2025, Luna is being constructed by renowned shipbuilder Fincantieri, with interiors crafted by top designers such as AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design, and Studio Dado.

David J. Herrera, president of NCL, highlighted Norwegian Luna’s theme, inspired by the moon and ocean tides, and emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering innovative experiences for its guests, focusing on new features and tropical destinations. Ben Angell, Vice President and Managing Director of NCL Asia-Pacific, noted that the ship is part of the Prima Plus Class, offering spacious relaxation areas, diverse dining, wellness facilities, and world-class entertainment, appealing especially to Indian cruisers.
