Ibrahim Shiuree has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
Shiuree brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served on the Steering Committee for the World Bank’s Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth project. He is also the current Vice President of the Table Tennis Association of Maldives, a position that underscores his dedication to sports, a field in which he was awarded the prestigious National Award in 2019 for his contributions to professional sportsmanship.
In his professional career, Shiuree has held the position of Director of Projects and Infrastructure at a private company. His notable achievements include involvement in several major airport projects, such as those at Fuvahmulah, Dharavandhoo, Ifuru, Kooddoo, Kuda Huvadhoo, and Kulhudhuhfushi.
Additionally, Shiuree is an Executive Board Member of the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI), reflecting his significant contributions to the construction sector.
