Sinclairs Hotels Ltd. has posted a Total Income of ₹ 6512.59 lakh (₹ 5733.09 lahks) and EBIDTA of ₹ 3134.16 lahks (₹ 2537.12 lahks) for the year ended March 31, 2024. Profit Before Tax for the period stood at ₹ 2542.54 lakh (₹ 3844.44 lakh) while Profit After Tax for the period was ₹ 2054.19 lakh as against ₹ 3123.20 lakh in the corresponding previous year. The last year’s profit included exceptional income of ₹ 1888.90 lakh on account of the sale of land at Kolkata.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2024, the Company posted a Total Income of ₹ 1686.20 lakh a 18.46% increase over ₹ 1423.44 lakh for the corresponding quarter in the previous year. EBIDTA for the quarter was ₹ 771.83 lakh (₹ 630.45 lahks) and Profit Before Tax was ₹ 639.78 lakh (₹ 2359.22 lakh) while Profit After Tax for the quarter stood at ₹ 532.20 lakh (₹ 1990.23 lakh). The profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2023, included exceptional income of ₹ 1888.90 lakh on account of sale of land at Kolkata.
The Earnings per Share (Face Value: Rs.2/-) for the year stood at ₹ 3.87. The Company continues to be debt free with strong fundamentals and its Net Worth as on March 31, 2024, stood at ₹ 10381.64 lakh.
The Board recommended a dividend of 50% i.e., ₹ 1 per equity share of ₹ 2 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2024, on the expanded capital post bonus issue of ₹ 5,12,60,000 subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. The dividend, if approved, will amount to ₹ 512.60 lakh.
During the year, the Company completed a buyback of 15,20,000 equity shares of face value ₹ 2 each at a price of ₹ 200 per share.
The Company also allotted 2,56,30,000 fully paid-up Bonus Equity shares of ₹ 2 each in the ratio of 1:1 in January 2024, which have been listed on stock exchange.
Further, the Company’s equity shares were listed on National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on April 10, 2024.
