New Delhi – Expanding Access to International Travel

In a strategic move to simplify international travel for Indian citizens, Udaan, a leading Visa Concierge and Travel Services firm, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Common Service Centres Special Purpose Vehicle (CSC SPV). The partnership will operate through CSC Safar, the government-backed travel services programme managed by CSC E-Governance Services India Ltd, aimed at providing travel assistance across rural and semi-urban India.

The MoU was formally signed by Sanjay Kumar Rakesh, MD & CEO, CSC SPV, and Rajan Dua, MD & Founder, Udaan, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.

Empowering Local Travel Facilitators
As part of this collaboration, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) will be trained and empowered to assist applicants with all aspects of their visa requirements. Leveraging CSC’s extensive network in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, VLEs will offer travellers visa application support, documentation guidance, appointment scheduling, and customer service, making international travel more accessible at convenient local centers.

“This partnership with Udaan Travel to provide visa services on the CSC Safar portal will make the application process simpler and more accessible, empowering VLEs to serve travellers with ease and efficiency.”

Udaan’s Vision for Seamless Travel
Rajan Dua, Founder and MD of Udaan, highlighted the impact of the partnership:
“We are proud to collaborate with CSC to simplify international travel for Indian travellers, thereby increasing our reach to a wider base. At Udaan India, our longstanding commitment has been to make visa concierge seamless and stress-free. This partnership enables us to extend our trusted expertise to CSC customers, ensuring they are fully prepared for travel with confidence and ease.”

The MoU formalises a comprehensive visa concierge service across rural India, covering every step from application support to customer service, ensuring that international travel is no longer a complex or distant process for residents of smaller towns and villages.

A Step Towards Inclusive Travel Access
By combining Udaan’s expertise in visa services with CSC Safar’s widespread reach, the initiative is set to democratize access to international travel. Indian citizens in remote and semi-urban regions will now have local, trustworthy assistance to navigate the complexities of visa applications, helping them travel abroad with confidence and ease.
