Luxury hospitality property JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity has announced the elevation of Neha Kapoor to Director of Operations, marking a key leadership transition aimed at strengthening guest experience delivery, operational excellence, and talent development across the hotel.
The appointment signals a continued focus on elevating service standards and reinforcing the property’s position within Delhi’s competitive luxury hospitality landscape.
A seasoned hospitality leader with over 15 years of experience
Neha Kapoor brings more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including over a decade with Marriott International. Her career has been shaped by a consistent focus on operational precision, guest experience enhancement, and team development across diverse luxury hotel environments.
Since joining JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity as Director of Rooms, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening operational workflows while ensuring seamless guest service delivery during large-scale upgrades and renovations.
Driving operational transformation and guest experience upgrades
During her tenure as Director of Rooms, Kapoor led the comprehensive renovation of all guest rooms and the Executive Lounge, ensuring that upgrades were executed without disruption to guest experience — a critical benchmark in luxury hospitality operations.
She also contributed to the repositioning of Spa by JW, aligning it more closely with evolving wellness expectations among luxury travellers.
In addition, her leadership supported the integration of sustainability-focused enhancements across hotel operations, reflecting a broader industry shift toward environmentally conscious luxury hospitality.
Leadership beyond the property
Kapoor’s influence extends beyond the hotel itself. She has served as Rooms Lead Trainer for the opening of JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island Resort & Spa, where she contributed to pre-opening training and operational readiness.
She has also been actively involved with Marriott International’s Women’s Associate Resource Group (WAN) in South Asia, supporting initiatives focused on leadership development and inclusion within the hospitality sector.
New role focused on growth and talent development
In her new position as Director of Operations, Kapoor will oversee overall hotel operations with a dual focus on enhancing guest experience and strengthening internal capability development.
Her mandate includes driving the next phase of growth for the property, with an emphasis on operational efficiency, service innovation, and nurturing high-performing teams.
Leadership perspective from the general manager
Commenting on the appointment, Vishal Singh, General Manager of JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, highlighted Kapoor’s leadership strengths and contribution to the organisation.
He noted her combination of operational expertise, commercial awareness, and people-centric leadership style, adding that her elevation reflects both her achievements and her ability to strengthen organisational culture and performance.
A leadership transition aligned with luxury hospitality trends
Kapoor’s appointment comes at a time when luxury hospitality brands are increasingly prioritising personalised guest experiences, operational resilience, and sustainability-led innovation.
Hotels within global portfolios are placing greater emphasis on leaders who can balance commercial performance with experiential excellence — particularly in high-demand urban markets such as New Delhi’s Aerocity hospitality district.
Looking ahead
As JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity continues to evolve within India’s luxury hospitality segment, the leadership transition is expected to support enhanced service delivery and further reinforce the property’s competitive positioning.
Kapoor’s elevation reflects a broader trend within international hotel groups, where internal talent progression and long-term leadership development remain central to sustaining brand consistency and operational excellence.
