Sentosa is set to transform into a spectacular world of Disney magic this summer as the Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), in collaboration with Disney Cruise Line, unveils “A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line”—a first-of-its-kind island-wide celebration running from 24 June to 20 September 2026. Inspired by the seven themed lands aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship, the three-month event promises an immersive day-to-night journey blending storytelling, entertainment, interactive attractions, and stunning visual installations across Singapore’s premier leisure island.

Designed to extend the Disney Cruise Line experience beyond the ship and onto Singapore’s most iconic resort destination, the collaboration transforms Sentosa into a vibrant playground where guests can explore beloved Disney, Pixar and Marvel-inspired worlds while enjoying the island’s beaches, attractions and natural landscapes. The initiative further strengthens Singapore’s appeal as a leading family tourism destination in Asia.

A Day-to-Night Adventure Across Sentosa
Unlike traditional themed events confined to a single venue, “A Magical Island Adventure” spans multiple locations across Sentosa, creating an expansive exploration trail that encourages visitors to discover the island at their own pace.

Guests can collect an event passport and embark on a journey through themed experiences located at the Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line, Sentosa Sensoryscape, Central Beach Bazaar, Palawan Beach, The Palawan @ Sentosa and the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. Along the way, visitors can collect commemorative medallion stamps representing the seven signature themed areas found aboard the Disney Adventure.

The Magic Begins Before Arrival
The experience starts even before visitors reach Sentosa.

Beginning in early July, the iconic Sentosa Express monorail will be transformed into a moving Disney attraction featuring Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse on its exterior. Travellers boarding from VivoCity will immediately step into the spirit of the event, creating anticipation for the adventures awaiting them on the island.

Adding another dimension to the experience, the Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line will feature specially themed cabins inspired by Disney Adventure spaces such as Toy Story Place and Disney Discovery Reef. Guests can also enjoy photo opportunities with Disney character installations located at the Sentosa Sensoryscape, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point cable car stations.

Southernmost Point of Continental Asia Shines After Dark
One of the most anticipated highlights of the event is the transformation of Sentosa’s iconic Southernmost Point of Continental Asia into a dazzling illuminated attraction.

For the first time, the landmark will remain open until 10:00 PM, allowing visitors to experience a dedicated after-dark programme featuring glowing ocean-inspired installations and immersive storytelling environments.

Inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay, the attraction will bring beloved stories such as Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch and Moana to life through vibrant lighting effects, glowing manta ray sculptures and interactive discovery experiences. Ocean-themed pathways, navigation motifs and celestial-inspired designs will create a unique coastal atmosphere that celebrates exploration and adventure.

Visitors purchasing dedicated night admission tickets will also enjoy a gamified exploration activity featuring embossed stamp collection opportunities and exclusive Disney Adventure-themed keepsakes.

Palawan Beach Becomes the Heart of the Celebration
Palawan Beach serves as the central hub of the island-wide festivities, welcoming guests with a striking six-metre inflatable anchor installation accompanied by sand-sculpted figures of Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse.

The beach will host several immersive zones inspired by Disney Adventure experiences:

San Fransokyo Street
Inspired by Disney’s Big Hero 6, this zone features a giant Baymax inflatable, themed relaxation areas and an energetic beachfront atmosphere enhanced by food trucks and rotating retail experiences.

Toy Story Place
Families can enjoy oversized toy-themed installations featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Bullseye. The area includes playful inflatables and a splash-themed shoreline attraction centred around a giant shower-head structure that comes alive with neon illumination after sunset.

Marvel Landing
At The Palawan @ Sentosa, Marvel fans will encounter attractions inspired by Disney Adventure experiences such as Ironcycle Test Run and Groot Galaxy Spin. The area transforms into a neon-lit entertainment space in the evening, adding a futuristic dimension to the beach environment.

Sensoryscape and Central Beach Bazaar Reimagined
At Central Beach Bazaar, visitors will discover the 3.5-metre “Magical Compass”, a centrepiece installation representing the seven themed areas of Disney Adventure and serving as a navigational landmark throughout the event.

Meanwhile, Sentosa Sensoryscape will evolve into a royal promenade inspired by Town Square, featuring 13 hammock installations dedicated to iconic Disney princesses and heroines including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Merida, Mulan, Raya and Snow White.

As daylight fades, sophisticated lighting technology featuring more than 100 programmed effects transforms the venue into a kaleidoscopic wonderland, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on immersive night-time experiences.

Another standout attraction within Sensoryscape is a five-metre Disney Cruise Line logo topiary inspired by Disney Imagination Garden, combining floral artistry with themed storytelling.

Extending Disney Cruise Line Beyond the Ship
According to Sentosa Development Corporation, the event represents a new benchmark in destination-based storytelling and experiential tourism.

Thien Kwee Eng, Chief Executive Officer of Sentosa Development Corporation, described the collaboration as a transformative initiative that demonstrates the potential of large-scale partnerships built around strong narratives and immersive visitor experiences.

Disney Cruise Line’s Southeast Asia leadership highlighted the activation as an extension of more than a century of Disney storytelling, allowing guests to experience the magic of Disney, Pixar and Marvel beyond the cruise ship while discovering Singapore’s most iconic island destination.

The Singapore Tourism Board has also endorsed the initiative as a significant addition to the city-state’s family tourism offerings, reinforcing Singapore’s reputation as a destination capable of delivering innovative, world-class visitor experiences.

Visitors can take home a collection of limited-edition merchandise created exclusively for the event, including customised tumblers, eco-bags, towels and keychains featuring both Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line branding.
