Lucknow, Chandigarh and New Delhi engagements brought Thai tourism suppliers face-to-face with India’s expanding outbound travel trade

TravelBullz has concluded its Great India Roadshow 2026, held in association with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) under the Amazing Thailand banner, with the final edition taking place in New Delhi on August 14.

The three-city B2B initiative began in Lucknow on August 10 before moving to Chandigarh on August 12 and New Delhi on August 14. The roadshow brought Thai hotel, leisure and tourism suppliers together with Indian travel agents, tour operators and outbound travel specialists, with discussions centred on strengthening trade relationships and developing products suited to the evolving Indian market. TravelBullz’s public announcements confirm the three-city format and TAT’s role as destination partner.

Focus shifts beyond traditional metros

A central theme of the roadshow was the increasing importance of emerging Indian outbound markets. By taking the Thailand engagement to Lucknow and Chandigarh in addition to New Delhi, TravelBullz provided participating suppliers with opportunities to connect directly with travel professionals outside the country’s traditional metropolitan centres.

The company’s approach reflects a broader focus on cities where outbound travel demand is developing alongside improving connectivity, rising consumer spending power and greater access to international travel information.

Recent coverage of the roadshow reported that around 24 Thai tourism and hospitality suppliers participated, while TravelBullz’s own promotional material referred to a delegation of 25 Thai partners.

Weddings, MICE and experience-led travel

Discussions during the roadshow covered segments including destination weddings, MICE and experience-led leisure travel, with Indian travel professionals seeking products that can be adapted to specific customer profiles rather than relying solely on standardised itineraries.

Thailand offers a broad portfolio for such requirements, spanning beach holidays, wellness, culinary travel, cultural experiences, entertainment, adventure and luxury accommodation. These products can be packaged for families, honeymooners, wedding groups, corporate travellers and younger leisure segments.

For Thai suppliers, direct engagement with Indian travel sellers also provides an opportunity to understand changing booking preferences and identify products with potential for different source markets.

B2B engagement remains central

The roadshow highlighted the continuing role of face-to-face trade engagement alongside the increasing digitisation of travel distribution.

For complex segments such as destination weddings, incentive travel and premium holidays, direct relationships between suppliers and travel agents can facilitate discussions around contracting, itinerary design, group requirements and destination-specific services.

The three-city format also allowed participating Thai partners to present their individual properties and experiences directly to travel professionals, while Indian agents could explore a wider range of products for their customers. TravelBullz’s own post-event commentary described the meetings as focused on building partnerships and creating new business opportunities.

TravelBullz reports business growth

Speaking about the company’s broader expansion, K.D. Singh, Founder of TravelBullz, highlighted significant growth in its global hotel business.

According to the company, its global hotel business has grown by 400% over the past three years. The figure is a company-reported performance metric rather than an independently audited industry statistic.

The roadshow forms part of TravelBullz’s wider effort to connect international tourism suppliers with India’s outbound travel trade and strengthen distribution relationships in markets with emerging demand.

Thailand strengthens engagement with Indian trade

Thailand remains a major short-haul international destination for Indian travellers, supported by geographic proximity, established tourism infrastructure and a broad range of accommodation and experiences.

For travel sellers, the destination offers scope to combine established leisure products with more specialised itineraries covering wellness, food and beverage, culture, nightlife, adventure and luxury travel.

The Great India Roadshow also underlined the importance of expanding destination engagement beyond established metropolitan markets as Indian outbound travel continues to develop across a wider range of cities.

With its New Delhi conclusion, the 2026 roadshow provided a platform for Thai tourism partners and Indian travel professionals to develop commercial relationships, exchange market insights and identify opportunities across emerging travel segments.
