Centrum Air has launched a new twice-weekly direct service between Hyderabad and Tashkent, expanding the Uzbek carrier’s presence in the Indian market and strengthening air connectivity between South India and Uzbekistan.

The new route commenced on 28 September 2026, making Hyderabad the airline’s second Indian destination after New Delhi. Centrum Air is operating the service with Airbus A320neo aircraft, with Hyderabad departures scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The launch adds a direct link between Hyderabad and the Uzbek capital while providing travellers from Telangana and the wider South Indian market with access to Uzbekistan and onward connections through Centrum Air’s Tashkent network.

Hyderabad becomes Centrum Air’s second Indian gateway

Centrum Air announced the Hyderabad route as part of its continuing expansion in India, identifying the city as a market with potential across leisure travel, business, visiting friends and relatives, student travel and onward international journeys.

The airline’s official announcement describes Hyderabad as its second destination in India following Delhi and confirms that the new service will operate twice weekly.

The Hyderabad–Tashkent service also complements Centrum Air’s existing Delhi–Tashkent operation. According to the airline’s Indian market partners, the addition of Hyderabad brings the carrier’s India–Tashkent schedule to seven weekly flights.

The Hyderabad service operates as C6 552, departing Hyderabad at 03:35 and arriving in Tashkent at 07:45. The corresponding Tashkent–Hyderabad service operates on Mondays and Thursdays.

New connectivity for South India

The new service gives travellers in Hyderabad and surrounding South Indian markets a direct option for reaching Uzbekistan without an intermediate stop.

Tashkent also serves as an important operating base for Centrum Air, enabling passengers to connect onward to destinations across the carrier’s wider international network. The airline has described the route as supporting both tourism and business travel between India and Uzbekistan.

For Uzbekistan, the additional Indian connection creates another channel for attracting visitors from a major outbound travel market, while Indian travellers gain direct access to Tashkent and the country’s wider tourism offering.

Aeroprime supports India market expansion

Aeroprime Group, Centrum Air’s exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) in India, is supporting the airline’s commercial activities and travel-trade engagement in the market.

Adil Mirza, Head of Agents Division, Centrum Air, said the Hyderabad route represented an important milestone in the airline’s Indian expansion.

“The launch of the Hyderabad–Tashkent route marks an important milestone in Centrum Air’s expansion in India,” Mirza said, adding that Hyderabad and the wider South Indian region represented an important market for the carrier.

He said the direct service would provide travellers with convenient access to Uzbekistan while supporting tourism, trade and business links between the two countries.

Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director and CEO, Aeroprime Group, said the new service would bring Uzbekistan closer to travellers across Hyderabad and South India.

He added that the launch followed the introduction of Centrum Air’s Delhi operation and represented further expansion of the airline’s Indian network.

Airbus A320neo to operate the route

The Hyderabad–Tashkent service is being operated using an Airbus A320neo. Centrum Air said the aircraft would provide passengers with a contemporary onboard experience, while the airline’s service offering includes meal options for passengers.

The airline’s official announcement also positions Tashkent as a connecting point for passengers travelling onward across Centrum Air’s wider network.

The launch comes as air links between India and Central Asia continue to develop, with direct services providing new options for leisure, business and cultural travel between the two regions.
