Oceania Allura will operate 17 voyages from November 2027 to March 2028, expanding opportunities to explore Europe beyond the traditional summer cruise season.

Oceania Cruises is preparing to introduce its first full winter season in the Mediterranean, with Oceania Allura scheduled to operate 17 voyages between November 2027 and March 2028 as part of the cruise line’s expanded European programme.

The itineraries will range from nine to 26 days, connecting major Mediterranean gateways including Barcelona, Rome, Athens and Istanbul. The programme is designed to give travellers more opportunities to experience the region during the cooler months, when historic cities, coastal destinations and cultural attractions take on a different seasonal character.

The winter deployment forms part of Oceania Cruises’ wider 2027–2028 European schedule, which includes sailings across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Adriatic and the Aegean. The programme combines established tourism centres with smaller ports and less frequently visited destinations, broadening the range of experiences available to cruise passengers.

Alongside major cities such as Rome, Barcelona and Istanbul, selected itineraries feature destinations including Golfo Aranci in Sardinia, Gythion and Skiathos in Greece, Kotor in Montenegro and Taranto in southern Italy. The cruise line is also highlighting overnight calls and extended stays, allowing passengers more time to explore destinations ashore.

Winter itineraries across the Mediterranean

Among the featured sailings is a 12-day Athens-to-Barcelona voyage departing on 8 December 2027. The itinerary includes calls in the eastern and western Mediterranean, providing opportunities to discover destinations across Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Malta, Italy and Spain.

A second option is a nine-day round-trip voyage from Rome, departing on 31 January 2028. Marketed as Iconic Art & Architecture, the sailing is scheduled to visit destinations including Palma de Mallorca, Tunis, Trapani, Valletta, Messina and Salerno, combining historic cities, Mediterranean island stops and coastal destinations.

The winter programme also includes longer voyages for travellers seeking a more extended European journey. With sailings lasting up to 26 days, guests can combine several countries and regions within a single itinerary rather than focusing on one destination.

A broader European cruise offering

Beyond the winter Mediterranean season, Oceania Cruises’ 2027–2028 collection includes itineraries across Northern Europe and the Atlantic coast. The wider programme brings together prominent cultural capitals, coastal ports and destinations known for their history, architecture, cuisine and regional traditions.

Highlighted voyages include Atlantic Wine Trails, a 10-day sailing aboard Oceania Insignia from Lisbon to London, departing on 24 April 2027. The itinerary features calls at Oporto, La Coruña, Bilbao and Biarritz, with an overnight stay in Bordeaux, before continuing to Saint-Malo and St Peter Port in Guernsey.

For travellers drawn to northern landscapes, Oceania Marina is scheduled to operate a 13-day Glacial Adventurevoyage from Copenhagen to Reykjavík, departing on 26 July 2027. The sailing includes destinations in Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands and Iceland.

The programme reflects a broader emphasis on destination-led cruising, with itineraries designed to balance well-known cities with smaller ports and opportunities for longer stays ashore.

By extending its Mediterranean operations into winter, Oceania Cruises is positioning its European offering for travellers seeking alternatives to peak-season travel. The deployment also reflects the growing variety of cruise experiences available across the region throughout the year, from cultural city breaks and culinary exploration to island visits and longer multi-country journeys.
