The luxury cruise line’s 2029 programme features 166 sailings across more than 180 destinations, with overnight calls, new Northern European ports and expanded Alaska itineraries.

Seabourn has opened bookings for its summer 2029 ocean voyages, unveiling a programme that includes the cruise line’s return to Egypt for the first time in more than five years.

The collection will operate aboard Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Encore, covering the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada and New England. Across 166 sailings, the programme combines established destinations with smaller ports, extended stays and overnight calls designed to give guests more time ashore.

Egypt returns to the Mediterranean programme

Seabourn Ovation will operate 21 Western Mediterranean itineraries between March and November 2029, with selected voyages featuring an overnight stay in Alexandria. The extended call will give passengers an opportunity to arrange visits to Cairo and the Great Pyramids of Giza, alongside Egypt’s wider collection of historic and cultural attractions.

The ship’s season will cover the Western Mediterranean, Italy, the Adriatic and the Aegean. Special itineraries include Pyramids & Evening at Ephesus, combining access to Egypt’s ancient heritage with Seabourn’s signature evening event at the archaeological site of Ephesus in Türkiye.

The programme will also introduce a maiden call at Kapsali, on the Greek island of Kythira, adding another smaller destination to the line’s Mediterranean offering.

New itinerary explores the Gulf of Bothnia

In Northern Europe, Seabourn Quest will sail between May and September, visiting Scandinavia, the Baltic, the British Isles, northern Norway, Iceland and Greenland.

A major addition is a new seven-day itinerary through the Gulf of Bothnia, exploring coastal destinations in Sweden and Finland. The route will include maiden calls at Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma and Oulu, bringing less frequently visited Nordic ports into the programme.

The wider season will also introduce maiden calls at Alta and Frøya in Norway. Overnight and extended stays in destinations including Bordeaux, Rouen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Edinburgh and Hamburg will provide additional time for cultural visits, local dining and independent exploration.

Selected voyages can be combined into longer journeys of 14, 21 or 28 days, offering travellers the option to explore several regions in one extended cruise.

Alaska voyages return aboard Seabourn Encore

Seabourn Encore will return to Alaska with seven-day voyages between Juneau and Vancouver from May to September 2029. Longer 10- and 11-day options will extend farther north to destinations including Valdez, Whittier and College Fjord.

Glacier viewing will feature across the Alaska programme, while Seabourn’s Expedition Team will provide insights into the region’s wildlife, landscapes and cultural heritage. Optional Zodiac cruises and kayaking excursions will offer opportunities to experience selected areas from the water.

Some itineraries will also include scenic cruising along British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, an area known for its coastal ecosystems and wildlife.

Canada and New England in the autumn

The 2029 programme will conclude its North American season with 12- and 13-day Seabourn Quest voyages through Canada and New England between September and October.

The itineraries will focus on maritime history, French Canadian heritage, coastal communities and autumn scenery. Overnight stays are planned in Boston, Québec City and St. John’s, Newfoundland, while smaller ports will include Gaspé, Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Prince Edward Island.

The programme reflects Seabourn’s emphasis on destination-focused cruising, with smaller ports and longer stays intended to give passengers a more immersive experience beyond the main sightseeing centres.

For luxury cruise travellers, the 2029 collection offers a broad choice of seasonal experiences, from Mediterranean archaeology and Nordic coastal exploration to Alaska’s glaciers and the historic waterfront communities of eastern Canada. The return to Egypt is among the programme’s most notable developments, while the new Gulf of Bothnia voyage adds further variety to the cruise line’s Northern European offering.
