As inflation bites, travellers globally are on the lookout for the best deals out there. To help bargain hunters on their way, digital travel platform Agoda shares the most affordable routes booked on Agoda in early August by travellers from India.
With thousands of flight routes from India to choose from on Agoda, Indian travellers had access to fares starting as low as INR 1,329. This fare is for the route between Mumbai to Goa and has ranked 5th among 10 Asia Pacific markets for the lowest domestic rate. Thailand and the Philippines, both having offered an INR 665 domestic flight, shared the top spot.
Regionally, India ranked 9th with an INR 4,985 flight from Delhi to Kathmandu. Indians did however have the most affordable intercontinental flight: Delhi to Dubai was available at some point for only INR 7,478.

The most affordable domestic flight booked in India took off from Mumbai and landed in Goa, costing no more than INR 1,329. Goa is one of India’s most popular tourist destinations, known for its beaches, nightlife, and laid-back atmosphere. The flight duration is only 75 minutes, making it a quick and easy getaway from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai.
Regional: Delhi (DEL) -> Kathmandu (KTM), INR 4,985
A journey from New Delhi to the enchanting city of Kathmandu was booked for a mere 4,985 INR. Nepal’s rich tapestry of traditions and landscapes await, from colourful markets to awe-inspiring Himalayan Mountain vistas. The flight time from Delhi to the capital of Nepal is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Intercontinental: Delhi (DEL) to Dubai (DBX), INR 7,478

Agoda looked at the total fare per passenger, including taxes and surcharges, in ten markets across Asia Pacific. The fares are the cheapest fares from actual bookings made on Agoda between 1 and 14 August and for travel in September and October this year.
Agoda built its global reputation as an online travel booking platform for hotels and vacation homes and has seen its flight bookings take off since launching on the platform in 2019. There are now 130,000 flight routes available to book on Agoda.
