Air France Opens a New Clarins Spa in theNew York JFK Lounge

On November 2, 2022, Air France inaugurated a new spa in partnership with the French beauty and skincare specialist Clarins in the New York-JFK lounge. This new space spanning 30 sq. m is reserved for La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers who wish to relax before their flight or during transit.

The Clarins team welcomes Air France customers in two cozy private beauty booths where they can choose from a selection of three complimentary face treatments lasting 20 minutes: “Jet Lag Relief’, “Detox time” and “Eye-Must” treatments. These beauty rituals for men and women, designed to relieve tension and promote relaxation, are proposed for 30 minutes to La Première customers exclusively, who can also enjoy a “Relax and reset” treatment designed by Clarins for Air France. Clarins professionals transport passengers into a world of intense well-being by providing expert care combined with high-end products rich in plant extracts.

This new Clarins Spa is open daily from 2pm to 10pm. Reservations can be made at the Clarins reception area in the Air France lounge.  La Première customers can also book this treatment by calling their dedicated phone line.

Clarins and Air France, a long-lasting partnership

For 17 years, Clarins has been pampering Air France’s Business customers at every stage of their trip. Upon their arrival at the airport, they enjoy free access to the spas in the company’s lounges in terminals 2E (halls K, L and M) and 2F at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport as well as at New York-JFK. On board, each customer receives a comfort kit containing a mini Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Cooling Gel and a mini Hand & Nail Treatment Cream. The Eau Dynamisante spray and Soothing Toning Lotion from the French cosmetic brand are readily available for customers to use until they reach their destination.

The Air France lounge at New York-JFK

La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers have access to the Air France lounge located in terminal 1 at New York-JFK. Bathed in light, this space, which was completely redesigned in 2018, offers a serene and soothing atmosphere. It offers services including a relaxation area, a new Clarins treatment area and shower cubicles.

On the mezzanine level, a catering area inspired by Parisian brasseries offers the company’s Lounge Dinner Service. This service meets the needs of customers travelling between New York and Paris on night flights who wish to sleep on board. They can enjoy a French-style gourmet meal in the lounge, identical to the one served on board, served at their table. During the flight, they can enjoy a good night’s sleep in the comfort of the Business cabin.

La Première customers can enjoy a personalised welcome on arrival at the airport and a dedicated VIP area in the lounge. They can also take advantage of this private space to enjoy emblematic French dishes served by a maître d’hôtel.

Air France, the leading airline on the Paris-New York route

As the leading airline on the Paris-New York route, Air France will propose up to nine flights a day between the two cities this winter.

The airline will offer a “shuttle” service available between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-John F. Kennedy (JFK) with 6 daily flights operated by Air France, four of which will offer the La Première cabin, and 2 daily flights operated by its partner Delta Air Lines.

Air France will also launch a daily non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-Newark Liberty Airport (EWR), the second largest international airport serving New York and the surrounding area, on 12 December 2022.
