Ajman Tourism launches a roadshow in New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata, highlighting new projects and attractions to expand partnerships and strengthen the emirate’s international tourism profile.
The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has announced the launch of its latest international promotional initiative, a multi-city roadshow in India designed to reinforce Ajman’s growing presence in one of its most important source markets. Running from 15 to 19 September 2025, the roadshow will be led by His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, and will include official visits to New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata.
The programme forms part of Ajman’s ongoing strategy to deepen international cooperation, strengthen ties with tourism stakeholders, and showcase the emirate’s expanding tourism portfolio. Through meetings with travel trade professionals, tour operators, and potential investors, ADTD will present Ajman as a destination that combines authentic cultural experiences with modern hospitality infrastructure.
According to H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, the roadshow reflects Ajman’s strategic vision for the future: “Through this promotional roadshow, we seek to reaffirm our commitment to opening new opportunities for regional and international cooperation, while strengthening Ajman’s position as a leading tourist destination. This initiative aligns with Ajman’s continuous development in the tourism and leisure sectors, led by a comprehensive strategic vision to advance every aspect of the tourism industry.”
The focus of the roadshow will be on presenting Ajman’s latest tourism projects, including new hospitality developments, upgraded cultural sites, and diversified leisure offerings. In addition, ADTD will highlight the emirate’s work in sustainability, family-friendly tourism, and investment opportunities, aiming to attract not only visitors but also long-term business partnerships.
India remains one of the fastest-growing outbound travel markets in the world, and the emirate is keen to capture greater visibility in this segment. By engaging with Indian tourism stakeholders, Ajman hopes to secure stronger bilateral partnerships, encourage joint initiatives, and position itself as a destination of choice for Indian travellers.
The initiative also seeks to deliver broader economic benefits, from boosting hotel revenues and increasing visitor numbers to generating new employment opportunities and attracting investment into the tourism sector. With India already serving as a strong feeder market for the UAE, Ajman is determined to build its own distinct identity within the competitive landscape of regional destinations.
By concluding this roadshow across three major Indian cities, ADTD is reinforcing its role as a proactive tourism authority, committed to sustainable growth and international collaboration. Through these efforts, Ajman aims to strengthen its global profile and ensure its tourism sector continues to thrive in alignment with the emirate’s long-term development plans.
