Brand USA Hosts USA Pavilion at SATTE 2014

Delegation of U.S. suppliers and destinations attend India’s biggest travel and tourism event for the second consecutive year.

brand-usaNew Delhi — Subsequent to the positive response generated at SATTE 2013, Brand USA is participating at SATTE 2014. Through the USA Pavilion U.S. exhibitors are afforded cost-effective and hassle-free opportunities to participate in overseas markets, introducing new products and finding buyers at international travel and tourism shows around the globe. SATTE, South Asia’s leading travel & tourism event, has become an extremely popular platform for buyers and sellers from the tourism industry to meet and conduct business. As the Indian tourism industry is growing at a fast pace, delegates at the Brand USA booth will use this opportunity to build relationships with and market their products to Indian buyers.

The delegation consists of more than a dozen leading U.S. exhibitors from various travel industry segments. The participants include Alamo Rent A Car, Best Western Global Marketing Group, Best Western India, FRHI Hotels & Resorts, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Nevada Commission Tourism, Caesars Entertainment, State of Nevada, Sea World Parks & Entertainment, Team America Receptive Tour Operator, Tours Limited, Universal Parks & Resorts, Visit Florida, and Walt Disney World.

With our continued participation at SATTE and our enhanced presence in the Indian market, the USA is on pace impact significant growth.” India is a key market for the U.S. Emerging markets are expected to grow their share of visitors substantially from 47 percent in 2012 to 57 percent in 2030. As of 2012, international visitor spending in the U.S. from India represented nearly $5 billion and travel and tourism represent 40 percent of all U.S. services exports to India. In addition to participating in tradeshows such as SATTE, Brand USA has completed sales missions, travel agent educational seminars and partnership co-ops with key airline and travel trade partners in India. The demand generated and enhanced by Brand USA’s promotional activities have been met with effective efforts to reduce visa waiting times in key growth markets such as India.
