Dubai Tourism Hosts the first CEO familiarisation for Indian Travel Trade

In a bid to strengthen awareness of the city’s efforts in combating the global pandemic, Dubai Tourism hosted the first CEO FAM Trip post the lockdown following the global pandemic. Top CEO’s from leading travel companies in India visited the Emirate for a familiarization experience of the city, to further learn about the safety and hygiene measures taken up as a precaution to combat the ongoing pandemic and ensure the wellbeing of residents and visitors alike

The delegation consisted of the top management of Veena World, Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd, Travel Boutique Online (TBO Group), Yatra.com, FCM Travel Solutions India and Thomas Cook.

The major pillar of Dubai’s tourism proposition, Emirates Airlines, hosted the CEO delegates with their world-class hospitality. Since it’s reopening on July 7 for international arrivals, Dubai has taken stringent measures to ensure the mandate of health and safety measures. Dubai’s Stakeholders from the key tourism pillars of Dubai discussed the readiness of the city to welcome its visitors and presented their collective views on Dubai’s hospitality, health and safety measures, as well as current SOP’s to be followed while travelling to the Emirate.

With a panoramic city viewpoint gracing Dubai’s Skyline with the spectacular Burj Khalifa standing tall in front, delegates stayed at the architectural marvel, the newly inaugurated hotel of the Emaar Hospitality Group, the Address Skyview.

The delegates visited the Al Fahidi Historical District of a deeper understanding of the cultural inheritance that Dubai imbibes. Deeply embedded in the roots of the city, Culture is in the heart of the city’s core propositions. The Emirate is blessed with a rich cultural heritage, which encompasses arts, crafts, gastronomy, places of historical and archaeological importance, architecture and much more!

The long-awaited event of the decade for the Arabian market, the EXPO 2020 Dubai is now less than a year away. The Indian delegates for a thoroughgoing experience visited this world phenomenon. Starting 1 st October 2021 to 31st March 2022, the site is almost ready to be graced by visitors from around the world! With an exquisite high tea at the Armani Lounge at the Armani Hotel, they ended their day with a dinner at the JW Marriott Marquis.

The team enjoyed a luxurious breakfast at the Al Maha Resort and Spa with the stunning landscape of dunes and desert fauna at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR) is one of the largest areas to be declared as a protected nature reserve by the government in the UAE.

Spanning across the boulevard of The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Fountain recently broke the World Record of the Largest Fountain in the World! With a scenic background of this spectacular fountain, the delegates relished their last night in the city.
