Pascall to Lead Development of New Distribution Channels and Strengthen Partnerships

In a significant move to enhance its future distribution landscape and expand its product portfolio, Hahnair has appointed Rachel Pascall as Vice President of New Distribution. This strategic appointment underscores Hahnair’s commitment to innovation in distribution channels and positions the company for growth in the evolving travel industry.

In her new role, Pascall will lead an international team comprising developers, IT specialists, and account managers. Her responsibilities include overseeing the commercial and technical development of Hahnair’s new distribution channels and ensuring seamless collaboration between Hahnair’s internal teams and external partners. Additionally, she will support the acquisition and implementation of new partners.

“New Distribution will be a crucial pillar of Hahnair’s future strategy, alongside GDS distribution,” commented Hahnair CEO Kirsten Rehmann. “Rachel Pascall brings extensive experience in strategic program management, travel retail, and a vast network in distribution technologies and travel management. Her expertise in API-based technologies and NDC solutions, combined with her proven track record from roles at Travelport and British Airways, positions her to drive the development of new distribution technologies and successfully onboard new solutions.”

Rachel Pascall expressed her enthusiasm about joining Hahnair, stating, “Hahnair has been a leading player in the travel industry for the past 25 years, playing a pivotal role in transforming and shaping airline distribution. Hahnair’s New Distribution products will provide partner airlines with access to additional distribution channels and NDC solutions without the need for their own development. Travel agents will benefit from Hahnair’s extensive network of partner airlines and the ability to use their preferred payment methods in over 190 markets, including credit card and BSP/ARC Cash.

This strategic initiative by Hahnair aims to revolutionize the distribution landscape, offering innovative solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the travel industry.
