The 38th IATO Annual Convention, to take place from 29th September – 2nd October 2023, at Chhattrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra has been themed Inbound Tourism and Emerging sustainable trends. Furthermore, IATO President, Rajiv Mehra has also informed that Senior Vice President Rajnish Kaistha will be the Chairman of the Convention along with Hony. Secretary Sanjay Razdan. Jitendra Kejriwal – Chairman of, the IATO Maharashtra Chapter has been appointed as the Co-Chairmen, whereas, Jaswant Singh, an IATO member from Aurangabad will be the Convention Coordinator.
The Convention venue will be Welcomhotel Rama International for all the activities on all three days, from registration for the convention, inaugural function, and business sessions to evening programmes. There Convention will also have 5 post-convention tours for the delegates to explore Maharashtra first-hand.
According to IATO Vice President, Ravi Gosain, about 900-1000 delegates are expected to participate from across the country which will include senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and States, industry leaders, tourism and hospitality professionals, and travel trade media.
IATO has also appealed to members to block these dates for the IATO Convention to start making travel arrangements. Registration is expected to start soon.
