IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a management agreement with Siddhya Hotels & Resorts Pvt Ltd. to develop the Holiday Inn Resort Kufri, set to open in January 2026. This new resort is part of IHG’s expansion strategy in India, aimed at offering diverse and exceptional hospitality experiences in leisure destinations. Holiday Inn, a globally recognised brand with over 70 years of history, aims to provide a quality, consistent, and authentic experience to travellers, and the new resort in Kufri will embody these values for both leisure and corporate guests.
Situated in the scenic town of Kufri in the Shimla district, the Holiday Inn Resort Kufri will offer panoramic mountain and forest views, enhancing the guest experience. The resort’s hilltop location will provide easy access to Shimla, Chandigarh, and other parts of North India, catering to independent travellers as well as the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) and wedding segments. The resort will feature 100 well-appointed keys, including 10 exclusive suites, along with various dining options, a spa, versatile meeting and event spaces, a grand ballroom, a fully equipped gym, a pool, and retail spaces.
