Costa Mujeres – the stretch of coastline in the northeast of the Yucatan Peninsula- is set to be Mexico’s newest gourmet destination with the opening of the 673 room Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa and TRS Coral Hotel, a 473 room adults-only property, in autumn 2018.

The newest development by Palladium Hotel Group will offer flavours and styles from around the world at the 14 restaurants that will open across its two new five-star hotels in the Mexican resort. Taking diners on a gastro journey, from Spain to Thailand and Italy to India, not forgetting local and regional Mexican cuisine, Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort and Spa and TRS Coral Hotel will feature a carefully curated selection of restaurants set around ‘The Village’ that links the two hotels along with shops, bars and recreation areas.
Guests of the family-friendly Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort and Spa will have access to nine top-quality restaurants, suitable for the whole family elevating the ‘all-inclusive’ concept of Infinite Indulgence©to a whole new level. Portofino (Italian), Chang Thai (Thai), Sumptuori (Japanese) and Boghali (Indian) will transport guests to faraway lands, while La Adelita will offer authentic Mexican flavours with local and regional specialities. El Dorado is the resort’s à la carte steakhouse and Grand Palladium will feature international dishes.
Guests at the adults-only TRS Coral Hotel will have access to a further five à la carte and thanks to the exclusive ‘Dine Around’ concept they will be offered unlimited and preferential access to all facilities at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa during their stay.

Among the exclusive TRS Coral Hotel restaurant offering, guests will enjoy the elegant and sophisticated La Bohème, which will exude the feel of a Parisian bistro with classic French recipes such as steak tartare, French onion soup and foie gras, accompanied by a bottle of Champagne, Bourgogne or Bordeaux from its ample wine cellar. Diners will have a lesson in Spanish gastronomy and culture at Tapeo, where tapas and other traditional dishes will be found. Meat lovers can indulge at El Gaucho; an Argentinean barbeque serving tender steaks and chimchurri, creole chorizo and empanadas, among other delicacies. Additionally, Capricho will serve breakfast and lunch with à la carte dishes and show cooking alongside fresh fruit smoothies, coffee, or mimosas.
In homage to Palladium Hotel Group’s roots in Ibiza, each hotel features a beach club – the Poseidon Beach Club at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort and Spa will offer refreshing cocktails and Mediterranean style fare for lunch or dinner by the sea with views of Playa Mujeres. TRS Coral Hotel guests will have exclusive access to Helios Beach Club, which follows the trail of the famous beach clubs of Ibiza with live music and DJ sets providing a rhythmic soundtrack as guests indulge in fish, seafood and seasonal cuisine. The Caribbean will never have looked so Mediterranean.

Set to be unmissable is the unique gastro and sensory experience at Chic Cabaret & Restaurant, which was initially launched further down the coast at TRS Yucatan Hotel in the Riviera Maya in November 2017 and is already ranked among the first positions on TripAdvisor out of more than 1,000 restaurants in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen. Chic Cabaret & Restaurant will now open as part of the unique gastro and entertainment offering at TRS Coral Hotel which will no doubt go down a storm among Costa Mujeres’ guests. Chic Cabaret &Restaurant serves a unique gastro and sensory themed experience.
