Radisson Hotel Group has marked a major milestone in its India growth journey, surpassing 200 hotels in its portfolio following the signing of five new properties. This achievement reinforces the Group’s position as one of India’s largest international hotel operators and highlights its ambitious expansion strategy in the country’s high-growth markets.

With 128 operational hotels comprising 14,209 rooms and another 77 properties in the pipeline totaling 8,619 keys, Radisson’s footprint continues to grow at a rapid pace. The Group credits this scalability to its strong owner partnerships and a business model tailored to evolving market needs.

“In crossing the 200-hotel mark in South Asia, we’ve reached a pivotal moment in our regional growth strategy,” said Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group. “This milestone underscores the relevance of our brands in the market and reflects the deep trust our partners place in us. India remains one of our most strategic markets in Asia.”

The latest additions to Radisson’s portfolio include:

  • Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Pawna Lake
  • Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucknow CBD
  • Radisson Hotel, Rajkot
  • Two brand conversions: St. Marks Hotel in Bengaluru and Temple Tree Hotel in Shirdi, both joining the Radisson Individuals brand.

Strategic Market Diversification

Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, emphasized that Radisson’s growth is being driven by a focus on high-potential markets and evolving traveler expectations.

“This milestone is a testament to our commitment to expanding responsibly across metro and emerging cities,” Sharma said. “Our strategy not only enhances guest experiences but also generates employment, supports local economies, and builds lasting community impact.”

Over the last 14 months alone, Radisson has signed more than 51 hotels in both key leisure destinations and major urban hubs. The Group has entered 45 new markets across India over the past three years, ensuring a balanced presence between metros and Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

A Stronghold in Indian Hospitality

Radisson Hotel Group continues to lead the hospitality sector in India, with a strong presence in major cities like Delhi NCR and a robust pipeline across the country. Its diverse brand portfolio—featuring names such as Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, and Radisson Collection—has allowed it to cater to a wide spectrum of guests.

The Group has also seen success with its soft brands Radisson Individuals and Radisson Individuals Retreats, which offer independent hotels the strength of Radisson’s global distribution while maintaining local identity.

As Radisson sets its sights on continued expansion in 2025, it remains committed to creating value for stakeholders, enhancing guest experiences, and driving inclusive growth across India’s hospitality landscape.
