~ The icon of New Delhi unlocks with enhanced safety measures for a luxury stay or stellar dining ~

The icon of New Delhi re-emerges with a promise of an unrivalled safety program I Care- A wellness initiative by The ImperialI Care focuses on post pandemic hygiene and well-being procedures & protocols for guests and associates. Guests can now walk in for a spectacular dining experience at their preferred restaurants –1911, The Spice Route and San Gimignano or book a luxurious stay here, without any health or safety concern.

Vijay Wanchoo Sr. Executive VP and GM at The Imperial New Delhi expressed his views on the occasion “We have complete wellness procedures under ‘I Care’ and have enhanced health and safety protocols for our guests in all areas of operations. Moreover, our Interiors and Technical teams have brought back the hotel to its original form in just one month’s time by undertaking all hygiene practices and social distancing norms. We have even gone one step ahead by acquiring a machine which sanitizes pillows after use, not just the covers.”

“As 90 % of our guests are international, the impact is quite significant in these times due to decline in cross country travel. The strategy now is to focus mainly on domestic business. We are looking at Corporates, HNIs/ UHNIs and other important global movements.  The wedding segment seems profitable while the Indian Film Industry continues to be quite encouraging as The Imperial has been ‘home’ for many celebrities, over the years. It is a challenging situation but with our impeccable Product, People and Procedures, we shall certainly triumph over” he further said.

The walls have now been restored with the historic artworks, the awe-inspiring rooms with high ceilings look alive, the restaurants are waiting for your arrival, the kitchens are again buzzing with chefs back in action and the jasmine scented corridors are well- lit, once again. As the doors open, the smiling associates can be spotted wearing the masks but exuding the same smile and warmth of the legendary Indian hospitality, The Imperial is known for. The hotel is geared up for its discerning guests to relive their favourite stay and dining experiences.
