Philadelphia, America’s birthplace, is an immersive experience as a city. Everything ranging from exploring the nation’s history with the Historic Mile, top-notch art and science museums, being the Mural Capital of the World, having the first Zoo in the USA to having the largest density of gardens in its outskirts of the city, there are more fascinating aspects of the city than you can imagine. The city is also working together as the world moves forward to face a new normal with the reopening of some renowned museums and attractions in the region:

“Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes” follows the comics company from its start in1939 to today. It tells the Marvel story through original comic art, costumes from the films and interactive displays that let fans take a deeper dive into the art. It’s open April 13-Sept. 2 at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Julia Hatmaker | jhatmaker@pennlive.com
