In a landmark collaboration set to redefine luxury cruising, Seabourn and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises have announced an exclusive partnership that will bring together two of their most celebrated itineraries for the first time. The new 2026 journey, titled Venice & the Mediterranean Sea, will allow travellers to seamlessly experience both river and ocean cruising within a single, all-inclusive package.

The itinerary combines Uniworld’s intimate Venice & the Jewels of the Veneto sailing aboard the Super Ship La Venezia with a week-long voyage on Seabourn’s elegant Seabourn Quest, charting a course from Venice to Athens through the Adriatic and the Greek Islands. Together, the two voyages promise an unparalleled blend of cultural immersion, refined luxury, and world-class service.

“This is a global first for the luxury cruise sector, and we are thrilled to deliver it,” said Chris Townson, Managing Director, Uniworld UK & Europe. “Our research revealed a significant crossover between Uniworld and Seabourn guests. This partnership offers them the best of both worlds: the intimacy of river cruising and the grandeur of ocean voyages, brought together in one seamless journey.”

Lynn Narraway, Seabourn’s Vice-President for UK & EMEA, added: “Uniworld shares our values, commitment to service, and dedication to exceptional experiences. This partnership is a natural fit. For travel partners and their clients, it represents the pinnacle of small-ship cruising — fully commissionable, inclusive of flights, and supported by bespoke sales collateral. We anticipate strong demand for this truly unique product.”

An Itinerary of Distinction

Available on two departure dates — 5 July and 30 August 2026 — the 15-day voyage begins in Venice with Uniworld’s immersive exploration of the city and its lagoon. Guests will sail to the islands of Burano, Mazzorbo, and Torcello, while enjoying signature experiences such as an exclusive after-hours visit to St Mark’s Basilica and a private sommelier-led wine tasting at the historic Dominico di Baglio estate.

Travellers will then transfer by private coach to embark on Seabourn Quest, embarking on a voyage through Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece. Highlights include the charming Adriatic town of Vodice, the dramatic approach into Kotor’s fjord-like bay, and the Venetian influences of Nafplion, among the most picturesque ports in Greece.

For those wishing to extend their journey, Uniworld is offering a three-day Slovenian extension, featuring luxury accommodation at the InterContinental Ljubljana, a visit to Lake Bled, the awe-inspiring Postojna Caves, and an intimate experience at a traditional bee farm.
