The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is inviting golf enthusiasts and travelers to experience the “Surat Thani Green Fee with Meaning” campaign, an exclusive promotion running from January 15 to May 31, 2025. This initiative offers a unique blend of world-class golf and sustainable tourism, set against the stunning backdrop of Surat Thani’s natural beauty.
In partnership with Ratchaprapa Dam Golf Course and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, the campaign provides discounted Green Fees for the first 600 golfers who book their tee times on weekdays and weekends. While caddy and golf cart fees are not included, the promotion offers a rare opportunity to play golf in the serene surroundings of Ratchaprapa Dam, located within the picturesque Khao Sok National Park.
Ms. Mantana Bhuthorarak, Director of the TAT Surat Thani Office, highlighted the campaign’s dual focus on golf tourism and sustainability. “This campaign positions Surat Thani as a premier golf destination while promoting eco-friendly travel. It allows visitors to immerse themselves in the area’s breathtaking landscapes and rich culture, all while supporting the local economy. It’s not just a round of golf—it’s an enriching experience that fosters meaningful connections,” she said.
The program showcases Surat Thani’s exceptional natural beauty and encourages visitors to explore the Ratchaprapa Dam area, known for its dramatic landscapes and ecotourism offerings. Travelers can further enhance their experience with a boat trip from Cheow Lan Pier, visiting nearby attractions such as Khao Sam Kloe, Pra Kie Phet Cave, Tham Thalu, and floating accommodations offering a unique way to experience the region.
