Taiwan Sees Strong Growth from Indian Market; Reappoints Blink Brand Solutions as Official Representative

Taiwan continues to strengthen its presence in the Indian outbound travel market, recording 22,687 Indian visitors in the first half of 2025, marking a 22% year-on-year increase. To further consolidate its growth, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has reappointed Blink Brand Solutions as its official tourism representative in India for a second consecutive year, following due government procurement procedures.

Since re-entering the Indian market post-pandemic in January 2024, TTA has rapidly positioned Taiwan as one of the fastest-growing international destinations for Indian travelers. Last year, a total of 38,158 Indians visited Taiwan, reflecting an impressive 20.81% growth over 2023, significantly outpacing the overall Indian outbound travel growth of 8.44%.

Strategic Partnership to Drive Market Expansion

The renewed partnership with Blink Brand Solutions gives the TTA India office the mandate to design, plan, and execute a wide range of marketing and promotional initiatives, including media outreach, trade engagement, and public relations campaigns. These efforts aim to boost Taiwan’s visibility and appeal to Indian travelers across leisure, business, and niche tourism segments.

Paul Shih, Director of TTA’s Singapore Office, highlighted the importance of India for Taiwan’s tourism strategy:

TTA’s marketing focus includes luxury travel, adventure tourism, incentives, golf tourism, and LGBTQ-friendly experiences, aligning with its global campaign, “Taiwan – Waves of Wonder.” The strategy aims to provide Indian travelers with diverse experiences, from cultural exploration and wellness retreats to gastronomic adventures and sustainable travel options.

The TTA India office will continue to collaborate closely with travel trade partners, including tour operators, travel agents, and online platforms, to create tailored packages and promotional programs.
