Taki Taki opens at Lower Parel, Mumbai

The pan-Asian restaurant opened its doors at the Lodha World premises in Lower Parel.

Taki Taki, a restaurant and bar serving authentic Japanese and Pan-Asian cuisine was recently inaugurated at Lower Parel, Mumbai. Located at the Lodha World Crest building, the high-end restaurant and bar feature delectable food made from the finest, premium-quality ingredients, a well-stocked bar, and stylish, sleek design elements inspired by the Far East.

The menu features a wide range of Japanese and Pan-Asian dishes with something for everyone’s palate. A live sushi bar offers guests classical sushi options like Taki Taki Maki, fried avocado, tanuki, jalapeno and balsamic caviar Spider Maki, soft-shell crab, avocado, tobiko and scallion, and Victory Maki, tuna and salmon, crab meat, avocado, asparagus, and unagi sauce. A variety of Nigiri, Sashimi and Carpaccio will satiate every sushi aficionado.

A selection of Dim Sum and Baos offers options like Spicy Pokchoi and Vegetable; Chicken and Truffle Suimai Shaved Hajikame and Pulled Lamb Bao and Kimchi. Soup and salad dishes provide diners with a light yet satiating options for their meals.

A variety of appetizers includes signature dishes like Teriyaki Chilean Sea Bass Satay, Asian Spiced Quail, Ginger-Glazed Grilled Spare Ribs, and Earthy Vegetable Golden Garlic and Chilli Crumb.

The main course offers dishes like Tofu and Pok Choy in Burnt Garlic Sauce; Grilled Chilean Sea Bass, Seafood Rice, and Mushroom Sauce and Lamb Chops, served with house-made spice blend and Asian greens. The meal can be accompanied by rice and noodles like Wasabi Pickled Rice; Japanese Seafood Rice and Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles.

Desserts include options like Apricot Ginger Chocolate Dome with Rum and Raisin Ice Cream, Yuzu Lava with Rambutan Cream, and Coconut Pandan Mango Basil, Mascarpone Cream, Beetroot Crisp, and Cinnamon Dust.

This happens to be the second outlet of Taki Taki after Bengaluru and also VRO’s second destination in Mumbai after French cafe Cafe Noir which was launched also here at the same place in October.

The spirit of Taki Taki lies in the journey that the company has gone through, taking the bold step of moving away from their home ground and establishing itself in newer territories with the guiding light of sheer determination.
