The Thailand International Boat Show – A Luxury Lifestyle Event is setting a new course for 2026 with a move to the prestigious Phuket Yacht Haven Marina. Scheduled to run from 15–18 January 2026, the fourth edition of the show promises to be bigger and more luxurious than ever, taking full advantage of the expansive superyacht marina in northern Phuket.
The move marks a significant step in the show’s evolution. Known as one of Southeast Asia’s premier superyacht hubs, Phuket Yacht Haven offers the space and sophistication needed to accommodate the event’s growing scale.
“We are thrilled to announce Phuket Yacht Haven Marina as the official venue for the 2026 Thailand International Boat Show,” said David Hayes, CEO of JAND Events, the show’s organiser. “This location aligns perfectly with our vision to position Thailand not only as a world-class destination, but also as the hub of luxury maritime lifestyle in Asia.”
Over the years, the Thailand International Boat Show has emerged as a key platform for showcasing the nation’s marine industry. Organisers estimate the event generates at least 1 billion baht annually for Thailand’s yachting sector, underlining its economic and strategic value.
With Southeast Asia continuing to rise as a premier yachting destination—joining the ranks of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean—Thailand is poised to lead the region. The country boasts award-winning marinas, extensive marine infrastructure, and warm hospitality, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking cruising grounds in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
“Yachting in Thailand is on the rise,” said Benjamin Tabuteau, Vice President of the Thai Yachting Business Association. “From boat sales to berthing, maintenance, provisioning, and chartering, our marine industry is growing by approximately 10% each year. As more people discover the beauty of Phuket, Krabi, Samui, and Pattaya, the potential for future growth is immense.”
The 2026 edition is expected to showcase over 70 sail and motor yachts, alongside expanded superyacht displays. Attendees can also explore marine technology innovations, water toys, and eco-friendly solutions. A luxury lifestyle zone featuring real estate, premium automotive brands, and gourmet dining will round out the high-end experience.
Ahead of the main event, the Thailand Yachting Conference will take place on 14 January 2026, bringing together global industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore developments in yachting regulations, market trends, and investment opportunities.
With strong international interest already building, organisers anticipate a dynamic gathering of exhibitors, investors, and enthusiasts, reinforcing Thailand’s status as a year-round destination for marine leisure, tourism, and lifestyle.
