Five Ovolo Hotels Across Australia and Hong Kong to Join Wyndham Portfolio, Merging Bold Design with Global Scale
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced a strategic partnership with the Ovolo Group that will see five of Ovolo’s boutique properties across Australia and Hong Kong integrated into Wyndham’s global portfolio later this year. The collaboration marks a major milestone in Wyndham’s efforts to bolster its presence in the upscale lifestyle segment across the Asia Pacific region.
Under the agreement, the five hotels—located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and Hong Kong—will join the Wyndham brand umbrella while retaining their signature creative flair and service ethos. Ovolo will continue to own and manage its brand independently, working exclusively with Wyndham to unlock new development opportunities across the region.
The alliance taps into rising global demand for experiential travel, a market valued at over USD 1 trillion, according to McKinsey. With a strong appeal to younger travelers, particularly Gen Z, both companies are positioning themselves at the forefront of this growing lifestyle hospitality movement.

As part of the integration, the five hotels—representing over 450 rooms—will be incorporated into Wyndham’s global sales, marketing, and distribution platforms. They will also join the Wyndham Rewards® program, providing its 120 million members with new access to Ovolo’s distinctive experiences.
