Anubhav Lal has been appointed Director of Marketing (Corporate) at Sayaji Hotels Ltd, strengthening the hospitality group’s leadership team as it continues to expand its brand presence and experience-led hospitality portfolio across India.
With an extensive professional career spanning more than 18 years, Lal brings cross-industry expertise in hospitality, luxury automotive, digital transformation, and brand strategy. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s corporate marketing initiatives, focusing on strengthening brand positioning, driving strategic communications, and supporting the group’s long-term growth ambitions.
The appointment comes at a time when India’s hospitality sector is witnessing strong momentum driven by rising domestic tourism, business travel recovery, experiential stays, destination weddings, and increasing demand for premium lifestyle hospitality experiences. Industry observers note that strategic marketing leadership is becoming increasingly important for hotel groups seeking differentiation in a highly competitive marketplace.
According to the company, Lal will play a central role in shaping Sayaji Hotels’ integrated marketing strategy while enhancing visibility across both digital and offline platforms. Prior to joining Sayaji Hotels, Lal served as Marketing Manager at Porsche Centre Mumbai, where he led a range of high-impact on-ground and digital marketing campaigns for the luxury automotive brand. His work included customer engagement initiatives, experiential events, and digital outreach programmes designed to strengthen brand visibility and premium customer experiences.
Before his stint in the automotive sector, Lal was associated with AstaGuru Auction House Pvt. Ltd., where he led brand and digital transformation initiatives. His role involved strengthening the company’s digital identity, expanding online engagement, and driving strategic communication efforts within the luxury art and collectibles segment.
Lal also brings significant hospitality marketing expertise from his tenure with Hilton Hotels & Resorts, where he served as Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications. During this period, he managed multi-property marketing campaigns, strategic alliances, brand partnerships, and integrated communication strategies aimed at strengthening customer engagement and enhancing market visibility for the hotel group’s portfolio.
His hospitality career began at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, where he built a strong foundation in sales and marketing operations. Industry professionals believe this diverse background across luxury hospitality, automotive branding, and digital business transformation positions him well to support Sayaji Hotels’ evolving growth strategy.
The company is currently focused on expanding its footprint while reinforcing its positioning in India’s premium hospitality segment through personalised guest experiences, lifestyle-driven offerings, and enhanced customer engagement.
