Air Cairo Partners with Aeroprime Group to Strengthen Presence in India and Europe-Africa Travel

Aeroprime Group, a leading Indian General Sales Agent (GSA), has been appointed as the Exclusive Passenger GSA for Air Cairo, marking a significant step in expanding the airline’s presence in India.

Air Cairo, the hybrid Egyptian airline co-owned by national carrier Egyptair, has appointed India’s Aeroprime Group as its exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) for the Indian market. This strategic partnership aims to provide Indian travellers with seamless access to Air Cairo’s extensive network across Europe and Africa.

Aeroprime Group, which will handle all aspects of Air Cairo’s sales, marketing, and promotion in India, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration in a recent press statement. The partnership comes at a time when demand for international travel is on the rise, and Air Cairo is poised to offer Indian passengers more travel options through its expanding route network.

“We are excited to welcome Air Cairo to our growing portfolio of airline partners. Air Cairo’s robust European network will offer Indian travellers easy access to key destinations such as Germany, Italy, Spain, and more, all with convenient connections through Egypt. This collaboration is set to bring greater flexibility, choice, and comfort to travellers, while aligning with our broader strategy of delivering exceptional value and experiences,” said Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director of Aeroprime Group.

Currently, Air Cairo operates a fleet of 37 aircraft serving destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The airline’s European network includes over 50 cities, with prominent connections to Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Turkey, and beyond. With this new partnership, Air Cairo aims to tap into the Indian market, a key growth region for international airlines.

Ahmed Shanan, Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo, expressed confidence in Aeroprime Group’s regional expertise. “We are delighted to partner with Aeroprime Group to expand our footprint in India. The partnership also benefits from Air Cairo’s codeshare arrangement with Egyptair, further strengthening the airline’s connectivity and service offerings. Indian travellers will now have access to a variety of destinations within Air Cairo’s extensive network, making travel to popular European and African locations more accessible and affordable.

As both airlines look to expand their presence, this collaboration signals a significant step towards enhancing travel choices for Indian passengers while providing greater connectivity across Air Cairo’s global route network.
