Amaan Kidwai has been appointed as the Area Manager for Luxury Hotels (North) at ITC Hotels, concurrently serving as the General Manager of the prestigious ITC Maurya in New Delhi. This dual role positions Amaan at the helm of overseeing ITC Hotels’ operations in the northern region of India, with a particular focus on ensuring operational excellence at ITC Maurya and other key properties.
In his capacity as the Area Manager for Luxury Hotels (North), Kidwai will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across a portfolio of ITC Hotels, including ITC Maurya in New Delhi, ITC Grand Bharat in Gurugram, ITC Mughal in Agra, and ITC Rajputana in Jaipur. Additionally, he will oversee properties under the Mementos brand in the northern region.
A distinguished alumnus of IHM Mumbai, Kidwai brings to the table an extensive background in food and beverage service, coupled with a proven track record of steering transformative initiatives across India. His journey with ITC Hotels began as a hotel executive trainee, successfully completing the two-year management training programme at ITC’s Hotel Management Institute in Gurgaon.
Kidwai’s career with ITC Hotels Luxury Collection has been marked by notable achievements, including his tenure as the General Manager of ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru, where he effectively led the team through the challenges posed by the pandemic. Subsequently, he assumed a higher role as the Area Manager for Welcomhotels North and Sheraton New Delhi.
With nearly three decades of dedicated service to ITC Hotels, Amaan Kidwai brings a wealth of experience from various regions of India. His commitment to the ethos of ITC Hotels and Responsible Luxury is exemplified by initiatives such as securing LEED Zero Carbon Certification by the US Green Building Council for Sheraton New Delhi.
