American Express has launched an offer for new Platinum Cardmembers, offering them double membership rewards points and a bonus £200 travel credit if they sign up by June 13, 2023.
Platinum Cardmembers will be able to earn up to 60,000 membership rewards points (double the usual amount) when they sign up for the card and spend £6,000 in their first six months.
Cardmembers that meet the spend requirement will also earn a bonus £200 travel credit to spend with Amex Travel Online to put towards flights, hotels and car rental at destinations across the world.
Those who are referred by a friend can receive a bonus of 65,000 membership rewards points, plus the £200 travel credit if they meet the spend requirement. The referee, meanwhile, will receive 18,000 points, up from the usual 12,000, once they are approved.
Note that this new Cardmember offer is only available to those who have not held a personal Membership Rewards enrolled Amex card within the previous 24 months.
