The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) is set to host its landmark 55th Annual Convention from September 12 to 14, 2025, in Bengaluru, bringing together over 1,200 hospitality stakeholders for three days of high-impact dialogue, collaboration, and strategic visioning.
As India’s largest platform for the hospitality and tourism sector, the Convention will convene a dynamic mix of industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, academics, and international experts to discuss innovation, sustainability, and the future of hospitality in India.
Building on last year’s theme, ‘Tourism@2047: Incredible to Inevitable India’, this year’s edition will spotlight emerging trends, breakthrough technologies, and inclusive growth models, aiming to reshape the hospitality ecosystem to be more resilient and forward-thinking.
“This Convention is not just a gathering; it’s a catalyst for change,” said K. Syama Raju, President of FHRAI. “With Bengaluru’s reputation as a tech and innovation hub, it offers the perfect environment to reimagine Indian hospitality through a future-focused, eco-conscious lens.”
Founded in 1955, FHRAI represents over 60,000 hotels and 500,000 restaurants across India, serving as the industry’s apex body. Through consistent policy advocacy and collaboration with government agencies, FHRAI has been instrumental in shaping the narrative of Indian tourism and hospitality both domestically and globally.
The Bengaluru convention will feature panel discussions, keynote speeches, technical workshops, and networking forums, all designed to fuel cross-sector dialogue and promote actionable strategies in sustainability, digital transformation, and workforce development.
Following a turnout of 800 participants last year, the 2025 edition expects a record attendance of 1,200, a clear indicator of the sector’s growing momentum and shared commitment to a vibrant hospitality future.
Stay tuned as Bengaluru becomes the pulse point of the Indian hospitality sector this September.
