Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2025, Hilton Lucknow marks Hilton’s third property in Uttar Pradesh

Hilton has announced the signing of its flagship brand hotel in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. Hilton Lucknow will be developed in partnership with Amrit Bottlers Private Limited, as part of a cluster complex that includes Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow, which Hilton already manages under the same ownership.

Slated to open in the first quarter of 2025, Hilton Lucknow is positioned strategically in the heart of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow’s premier locale, and is set to be a beacon of hospitality excellence and innovation. This expansion strengthens the brand’s presence in Uttar Pradesh’s administrative capital and underscores Hilton’s commitment to grow in India’s most populous state.

Hilton Lucknow’s prime location is close to government, commercial offices and the city’s railway station, and is 23 kilometres from the commercial airport. Upon completion, Hilton Lucknow will feature 140 guest rooms that blend local influences with contemporary design. The hotel will also offer expansive event spaces of 17,000 square feet, including a banquet terrace garden, a ballroom and meeting rooms, and is poised to cater to large social and corporate gatherings. Guests can also indulge in culinary delights at three food and beverage establishments, including a speciality bar and stylish lobby lounge.

Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and country head, India, Hilton, said, We are thrilled to bring Hilton’s signature hospitality to Uttar Pradesh’s largest city. Lucknow is a city steeped in history, culture and modern vibrancy, making it a choice destination for Hilton’s expansion as we strengthen our portfolio in North India. We are privileged to deepen our partnership with Amrit Bottlers Private Limited, and are better positioned than ever to meet our guests’ evolving needs.”

Rajesh Ladhani, director, Amrit Bottlers, said, “We have a great relationship with Hilton, having built and run the Hilton Garden Inn in the same complex. This partnership aligns with our intent to strengthen our foothold in the booming hospitality sector and expand our presence in the most sought-after locations in Gomti Nagar. In recent years, the city of Lucknow has gained repute as a well-established destination that meets the growing travel demand from domestic and international travellers alike, and we are confident that Hilton Lucknow will enhance the city’s dynamic hospitality scene.”

With 26 trading hotels in India and 19 more in the pipeline, Hilton is on course to triple its India estate to 75 trading and pipeline hotels in the coming years.
