ITB India 2025 closed its doors at the Jio World Convention Centre after three dynamic days of networking, knowledge-sharing, and business exchange. Now in its third in-person edition, the B2B trade show—staged alongside MICE Show India and Travel Tech India—reinforced India’s growing role as a hub for international travel and tourism.

Held from 2–4 September, the event attracted more than 600 buyers from across the MICE, leisure, corporate, and travel technology sectors, resulting in nearly 4,000 confirmed one-to-one meetings. This year’s exhibition floor featured strong international participation, with over half of exhibitors representing global destinations and brands.

Notable participants included Wonderful Indonesia, Visit Northern Finland, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism Oman, Sarawak Tourism Board, Ha Noi Tourism Promotion Centre, Destination 2 Italia, Fly24hrs, Infiniti Software Solutions, Pearl Mara, Prince Hotels & Resorts, and VEGA Hotel and Convention Center.

“ITB India 2025 has demonstrated the remarkable growth and resilience of the travel and tourism sector, bringing together global exhibitors, quality buyers, and industry leaders in one dynamic marketplace,” said Darren Seah, Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, organiser of ITB India, MICE Show India, and Travel Tech India. “With engaging content, high-value appointments, and strong partnerships across MICE, corporate, leisure, and technology-driven travel, this year’s edition reinforces India’s role as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region.”

Showcasing India’s Diversity
India’s cultural and geographic diversity was a highlight of the show, with Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh participating as the Official Partner States. Their presence showcased India’s varied landscapes and heritage, underscoring the country’s position as both a domestic and international tourism powerhouse.

Insights from Global Travel Leaders
The ITB India Conference 2025 ran parallel to the trade show, delivering more than 1,440 minutes of content across 40 sessions and four dedicated tracks—Knowledge Theatre, MICE & Corporate, Travel Tech, and Experiential Travel.

Under the theme “The Business of Experience: Curated Travel for Targeted Growth”, over 80 industry experts shared perspectives on the evolving travel landscape. Thought leaders from FCM Meetings & Events, Google, Indian Hotels Company Limited, MakeMyTrip, Meetingselect, SOTC Travel, Thomas Cook India, and Tripjack contributed to discussions spanning digital innovation, corporate travel strategies, and future trends.

The debut of the Experiential Travel track drew particular attention, reflecting growing traveler demand for immersive and sustainable experiences, from cruise journeys to film tourism and cultural explorations.

Looking Ahead: ITB India 2026
With its successful 2025 edition, ITB India further cemented its role as a platform connecting the Indian and South Asian markets with global travel stakeholders. The event will return to Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre from 2–4 September 2026, continuing its mission to foster cross-border collaboration and unlock opportunities across the tourism value chain.
