This Meetings Africa edition marks an important milestone as we enter into the second decade of this Pan-African trade show. Over the years we have made a concerted effort to pull together and advance the African agenda with one vision and one goal in sight, to build a globally competitive business events industry. I would like to warmly welcome all exhibitors, members of the media, all the buyers and visitors to the eleventh edition of Meetings Africa in this prestigious venue, the Sandton Convention Centre and our wonderful city, Johannesburg. It is with pride that we announce that Africa is indeed open for businesses as we launch into Meetings Africa 2016 with a total of 15 African countries represented, including eight continental tourism boards. We have pulled all the stops to make Meetings Africa 2016 not just another trade show but a genuinely one-stop shop packed with insightful discussions and networking opportunities with industry players. You will also find that it is arranged in a manner that will help our buyers experience products and services illustrating Africa as the best place to go when seeking to host meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.
